August 28th, 2015 is when my next album, Doxology, will be released and I couldn’t be more impatient! I’ve been writing songs for this album since the beginning of 2014, 36 songs written in all, which isn’t a lot for some people, but it was a lot for me! We only recorded 8 of those 36, because I fell in love with two other songs I really wanted to include in the message of the music.
When it’s time to eat at the Shust home, it’s time for little boys (and big boys) to wash their hands! After a day of playing outside in the dirt, riding bikes up and down the hill and playing with legos that have been who-knows-where, hands need to be cleaned before handling food. And if I really want them clean, I may need to actually wash their hands for them.
Unless I’m on the road, and I’m currently not, there’s something about July that rekindles the flame of excitement I feel every January. We’ve made it through the first half of the year and whatever pieces may have fallen or swept to the side, it’s time to make sure they’re not forgotten.
Last week, Aaron was able to lead pastors from across the country in worship during a conference at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. For more photos from the trip, visit Aaron’s Instagram here!
This past week was an incredible time of creativity and fellowship for Aaron and the centricworship team as they crafted new worship songs at the Whitestone Country Inn. Can’t wait to worship with these new songs!!
